2001 Mazda Miata SE #376

Not for me unfortunately. My brother hit a deer in his Firebird and he wants to replace it. If he buys this thing, my jealousy will know no bounds.

Update: The car is in great shape and the price is perfect. Going to pick it up tomorrow.

This’ll be the second time my brother went out and bought the same brand car as I already drive. First was his Firebird when I was DD’ing the Fiero and now it’ll be the Miata while I have the 3.

I will be borrowing this one on a regular basis.

The ‘01 SE is a very nice Miata. I don’t care for the short-geared 6-speed but the rest of the is just about all I could ever want from a stock NB2 Miata. That said, if you brother feels like replacing that stock wooden-rimmed wheel with something else, then I’ll be more than happy to buy the oem wheel from him!

Were the chrome wheels OEM? Not my taste but I'd keep them on if they were OEM.

Otherwise it's a very nice car - green and tan looks real nice on NBs and NAs. I don't think I've ever seen a green/tan NC.

Chromed LS wheels were standard on SEs, the wheels were the same, but silver-painted on LS Miatas.

2001 SE was also a special BRG color, different, more classic, and a bit less metal-flake look than Emerald Green on other NB Miatas.

SE also had white/ivory gauge faces, and wood Nardi furniture in the interior. A great car.

The one we went to look at is $4500 with 134K miles on it.

It is in great condition at a great price and it’s the exact Miata I would get if I were looking for one.

I thought so. It seems on the low end of what I’ve seen and KBB says it’s rock bottom retail.
